How we run our own servers: one internal platform that shows what's deployed, what's failing and whether the backups are healthy.

Problem / Opportunity
Running several products on our own servers meant constantly switching between Coolify, Umami, Beszel and other tools to answer simple questions: what's deployed, what's down, are the backups healthy?
Our Approach
We didn't replace those tools. The platform connects to them, brings their data into one view and allows a limited set of safe actions, with access control and an audit trail around them.
What We Built
- Overview of products, services, deployments and logs
- A limited set of safe deployment and service actions
- Analytics and server monitoring through Umami and Beszel
- Incident tracking and operational reports
- Backup status visibility
- Role-based access, two-factor authentication and an audit log
- Secret scanning and dependency audits during development
How We Use It
A deployment goes out
Its status is polled every 15 seconds, so build logs and results are in one place, with sensitive values masked.
A server or service misbehaves
Server metrics sync every 30 seconds and alert rules run every minute. A triggered rule opens an incident that we track through to closure, with notes.
We need to act on a service
Deploy and restart actions are limited to authorized roles with two-factor authentication, and they leave an audit record.
Are the backups actually there?
Backup status is checked every 10 minutes across its sources, and restore tests have their own record instead of being assumed.
At the end of the week
A weekly operations report summarizes what happened across the infrastructure.
This is the standard we bring to client infrastructure work: know what's running, find problems early and keep a record of every change.

Current Status
Internal tool, not a public SaaS and not for sale. In use on our own infrastructure since October 2026. Some parts are still being completed, including detailed analytics breakdowns and backup manifests, and restore drills on production data haven't been verified yet.
